Lake Minnetonka is a public resource available for all to use and enjoy. However, the growing impacts of noise, congestion, safety, habitat destruction and aesthetic damage on and around Lake Minnetonka are cause for concern.

To guide the Lake Minnetonka Association and others in providing a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment for Lake Minnetonka, the Lake Minnetonka Association adopted five position statements that showcase our goals and commitments to the lakeshore environment and community.
